Hi! Every time I tap on a photo its one of yours! You seriously take some of the best I've seen. I'm sure you've been told that a lot but had to drop by and let you know I'm not a stalker Lol! Great job & look forward to more to comment on : )
Hello, I really need help from someone, I'm really worried. I've had a two tiger salamanders for almost two years now. One of them I have noticed has gotten what I think is bloated, and would not eat (usually he eats like a pig) I have left him alone for about four days, and he looks even more bloated. I don't know if he is constipated or what… His movements are somewhat robotic, he is usually very active and I have noticed him just slouching over the water bowl, not being very active, and when he does walk he appears to have a hard time. He is being very lethargic. He is walking as if he can barely carry his own weight. Is this constipation, or something else? What should I do to fix this? Usually I feed him red worms, or crickets. I did recently change his substrate from one time of co-co fiber to another rainforest type because the pet store didn't carry it anymore, I found the closest one I could to the previous. Any ideas? I would very much appreciate it.
Hi there, Mark.
Just a little update on the alpestris. Two of them are now definitely male and reaching sexual maturity. I expect they´ll be having a bussy spring. There´s a third male that seems a bit behind. The females have grown quite a bit and who knows, they might even reproduce this year.
I´m really excited xD I can´t believe i will finally be able to enjoy the sight of a male alpestris in full attire (been waiting for this for a veeeeeeeeeeery long time).
Anyway, i just thought you´d like to know they are doing very well
Just wanted to say that the apuanus are doing wonderfully well. They are greedy little bastards and are constantly begging for food xD
They have grown quite a bit and i´m suspecting that at least one of them might be in the verge of starting the development into an adult male.
Thanks once again Mark, they have made me very happy
@sde, hi everybody I'm getting a tiger salamander coming from Katy Texas what are the shipping conditions that's okay to have them shipped to me in the state of Vermont it's just starting to get the temperature low above 45 but it may be too hot to ship him any thoughts or ideas on how to work this out
I currently have a 3 year old axolotl, he hasn't been eating for the past couple of weeks and has lost a lot of weight. Hedwig usually eats bloodworms and earthworms just fine but now he won't even stud it. I've done a water change to make his nitrate lower and his water is at a good temperature
