Title My Newts Have Arrived Update
Description Hello all, I made a post a day ago about receiving my eastern newts, I said one was a light tan color and the other two were a dark brown color, well Something has changed, "but don't be alarmed just yet", it's not anything bad, but more odd, it's odd because when I woke up I had one dark newt and two light color newts, now before I went to bed that night I did notice one of the dark newts trying to shed it's skin.

I have also noticed that the dark brown one appears to be just a bit smaller, so I am thinking that the darker brown coloration could be their normal young juvenile appearance so if the last one sheds his skin and becomes a light tan as well then that will surly be the case.

These animals have also seemed to grow a bit over night and have been eating like little piglets, take a look at the difference in them, and they have still wished to remain entirely aquatic so far, this species of eastern newt appears to be of the Notophthalmus viridescens louisianensis, I'll keep you updated but until then thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the pics.
