Title infant pigeon bottle feeding
Description As promised, here is the picture of a baby pigeon feeding from a feeding bottle. The baby will stuff her beak in to the opening of the feeding bottle and suckle the formula. This is quite unique to pigeons and doves, as most baby birds need the food to be stuffed in to their throat by the parent bird. With pigeons and doves, the baby actually suckles the food (crop milk) out of the parent birds throat.
