The middle photo looks interesting, and I don't think I've seen a photo of an axolotl so young ( last pic) ...now going to get my camera out to try again with my guys!

The babies have very interesting colourings.Cute
 
they look so strange, kind of like colourful tadpoles
 
what type is the axie baby with red eyes? Looks really cool! Ur lucky to have cute babies;)
 
Your axolotls are simply stunning.
That male wildtype is gorgeous I bet hes a proud Dad

Those baby axies are so cute! How many do you have?

Can't wait to start breeding them myself, need to get in a bit more experience looking after my single axie first tho :eek:

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
