I walked past my axies last night and it looked like they were floating or had changed into tree dwelling creatures.

It doesn't really come off in the photos but with a little bit of imagination.... You get the picture

Hendrix has always been happy in the top of the plants and since introducing Ollie he has begun to mimic alot of Hendrixs behaviours.

They were like this for about an hour.

Please excuse the quality and bad lighting but I just pointed a desk lamp at them and grabbed the camera.

Cheers

Aaaww cute, love their tank, very green and lush

Hannen's ed: those are plastic plants. I could spot 'em a mile away!

They do look very healthy though. Mine do this a lot. The amazing 'one foot balance' is a good one to catch too, where they have only one foot on the plant and are hanging out in 'thin air'.

So whats wrong with plastic plants. The only thing I can keep alive are plastic plants. I dont care what they are, they look good.

Haha! I'm the same way. If I even come close to a living plant, it immediately wilts and dies. Probably suicide, so I don't murder it. No green thumb here, mine's black!

I've got mostly silk plants, with some java moss, and two bits of the never-growing mossball. Other than that, they've all died.

Thanks, this is the end on shot of the tank, there are some real live plants at the other end of the tank but they don't handle the climbing activity very well and they are only small so they don't offer the same height as the plastic ones.

never growing moss ball?? I had one but now it has split to about 5 decent size ones and some baby oes (absolutly tiny) tear a tiny bit off and put it in a jam jar with meshy top add aquarium water (replace once a week) and once every 6 weeks add a teany bit of orchid fertiliser (or a mild fertilser) and place on window sill not in direct light. and there you have it 'quick' growing moss balls (will also revive sickly ones)

I've had the same moss-bits for two or three years now. They don't die, they just don't get any bigger. The axies took the original mossball and shredded it, and some of the shreds are fairly good sized, but haven't ever grown.
