That is a nice newt! It amazes me how much they look like Notos without the spots!

I welcome your little graecus into the world of clicking cameras and onlooking newtists. They're lovely. They do look a bit like Notophthalmus.

Thank you, they are indeed lovely, so tiny :)
They do look a bit like notos, but the one pictured is the lighter one..the rest are quite different.

That is a nice newt. What give them to eat?

Thanx.
Well, now they are eating drosophila, trichorhina and pieces of earthworms (a few times they took tubifex too).
One of them is very ill and i don´t think it will make it, but the other four are doing great, eating lots and becoming to be less shy.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
