Please excuse the poor quality of these photos, I didn't want to use the flash on them and subsequently they've ended up too dark, you might be able to make out the larvae though, hopefully. I'll try to get some better pictures soon, I'm so proud of my 8 babies!
The first picture is the largest larvae at about 6cm, the second the 5cm larvae and the third 4cm larvae. There is over 3cm between the very largest to the very smallest! I'm surprised at the size difference as they've all been fed the same food!

A little update. I have moved the larvae to a 3 foot tank. I have now used a divider to partition off the filter as even with a spray bar the current was a bit strong. The larvae seemed to like riding the flow, but I was worried they would get sucked up the intake!
Excuse the dirt on the floor of the tank, I feed them baby earthworms and discovered the easiest way to do this is to swish around whatever they're clinging onto (food scraps that I put in to attract them) which is also covered in soil. I tried washing them off in a separate tub of tank water, but picking out 100's of baby worms the width of a piece of cotton with tweezers isn't much fun!

On the third photo you can see the size difference in the larvae. I was a bit concerned putting them together in one tank, but so far no problem. Perhaps because they have plenty of room and plenty of hidey places.
