All the eggs I have is layed in the background of the terrarium where it is dry "land". Very high up as well. They climb straight up the wall.

There is a huge difference in size, but the biggest are at the most around 2 cm i would guess.

I feed them mostly bloodworm as I find that the best food so far. Have tried to get live food with no or little success.

I still keep them in the same terrarium as they hatched.

Ill try to take some better pictures with a macro lens.

Well done breeding them. It is interesting how different groups of animals choose varyingly wet sites for egg laying, from aquatic to the back wall fo the terrarum like yours'.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
