Hiya,
I'm Corinna, 17 years old and student in year 12...
I've been keeping amphibians and reptiles for 5 years now....
Everything startet with a pair of American treefrogs and gradually my "little zoo" grew...
I got my first fire bellied newts 4 years ago and they started reproducing one year later, but it took me a while till I found out the right conditions required for the metamorphs and I currently have about 10 little larvae, 5 larvae which are shortly before metamorphosis and 4 juveniles which are living on land for 3 months now...
One month ago I bought two cynops cyanurus in a pet-shop... I think one of them is definitely male, but I am not sure about the other one, I suspect it's also a male one, but maybe you can help me with identifying the gender.... (pictures of "him" will follow soon)
To give you a little impression of my newts, I attached this picture of my chinese fire bellied newt tank
