Here are some piccies of my first batch of axolotl larvae. They all have front legs now and are looking so cute :D

*squeeeee*

Which ones are miiiiine?

lol posted you a pic on FB aswell  Do you want more than one?? xx

oh my!!!

How cute, he has little leggies!

I want them ALL! Should probably restrict myself to one though...

lol whatever you want hun x

The ones in the third pic, with the speckles and dark eyes... Any idea what colour they'll be when they're adults? Have any pics of adults that started that colour? My baby looks exactly like that, and I'm so curious! It's my first axolotl, so I have nothing to reference his colour to.

By the way, they are ADORABLE! I love it once they get their little front legs. I especially love your shiny little albinos! :D

Am guessing like there mum they will be wild coloured :D

A few more for you, 2 are now sizeably bigger than the rest so they have gone into their own tub, we now have a tub of 2 tiny ones, a tub of 2 massive ones and the remaining 6 are in the 3rd tub :) Anyway to bore you some more here they are :) oh and the funny looking one in the last piccy is my 4 year old Zak who had just been taken to McDonalds as a treat and had this toy which was a stereo and played music which he felt the axies should listen to, bless!!

Can I have oooone?

Are you local to me as cant see where you live from your profile as I will be selling some cheap when they are ready as only keeping 2??

I live in Sweden, guess that shipping from the UK to here is impossible, eh? :(

Heh there,

Not sure of shipping regs but guessing its a no and I also hate posting live things so it would be a no anyway sorry :( Really hope you find one soon

Probably a cruel way of moving animals, you're right. Thanks anyways! ;)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
