Hehe I had to clean tanks so i decided, Eh, Im going to put Taco & freckles in a 5 gal together while i clean! I think they would do really well in a tank together, they just kinda went over and chilled, checked on another out, and just kinda sat beside eachother! :p

Lol im so sad >< Freckles went and sat on taco and i didnt get a pic XD it was kinda cute. she just sat there XD after a while taco got fed up with it and moved :p

They're gorgeous! It's so funny, the two of them look as though they're trying to work out who the OTHER two axies are, the ones they can see reflected in the glass! :D

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
