Desmognathus ocoee?

If anyone is an expert on Desmognathus, could you tell me if you think this is an ocoee or not? These were fascinating.

Right off hand it looks more like D. monticola to me based on the spots. I usually need more of a close up on the tail. Where were you?
 
To the looks of numbers 2 and 3 they seem to be ocoee. I can't quite tell on number 1, but it's also probable. Is each picture a different salamander?

I personally do not think it is monticola. Monticola are much more muscular and robust. Those salamanders seem dwarfed compared to monticola. Also, ocoee have a distinct coloration and overall look different. But, it all depends on where the photograph was taken.

I wouldn't say any desmog has a distinct coloration, especially with hybridization. Coloration even within the same stream is incredibly variable. It could partically be anything in the ochrophaeus complex, but the best way to tell is location and from there, the keel of the tail. Color and spots are virtually useless. Attached is a DNA confirmed D. ocoee ;)
