A few misc. photos of Huxley and his 20L current tank.

Freezer shot: A Mr. Peanut container filled with water and frozen with a copper coil running through it. Though I could probably run this on the overflow line direct from my tank (my pH is 7.6) I decided to play it safe and run this on a seperate circuit which goes to a custom made closed loop cooler in the tank substrate.

Sideways stand photo: the stand, my custom overflow plumbing and mini-fridge setup. Notice how close the tank is to a window. I take full advantage of this and bring in well-water through the window as well as overflow my sump out of that window.

Huxley under blue: I love the look that these lights add to my tank for night time viewing. They are two cold-cathode PC tube lights that put out virtually no heat whatsoever and run off a chopped PC power supply that I wired a toggle switch into the PS_GOOD and GND wires.

2 more shots.

Huxley investigates a snail: I selected these tankmates for their size (much larger than my axies head) to assist with potential algae growth once I add plants. I also admit to liking a very lively tank. Huxley is fascinated but I have no fears about these additions after the first 2 days watching very closely. My axie is curious about them but keeps his distance and has not had the test with his mouth approach to observing them.

Custom Eurobraced 20L: A good night shot of my other 20L setup with LED lighting, emergent (fake) vegetation and minimalist styling. Unfortunately this tank had no cooling options and fans could not keep the water down to an axie safe level. It has been dissassembled.
