Odd Southern Leopard--Any ideas?

I caught this southern leopard today and noticed he had a pretty unique eye mutation--at least it is new to me. Any ideas? It reminds me of the "snake eye" gene in leopard geckos. He also has some blue flecking on his back.

its most likely from chemicals in the water when it was a tad. there is no sign of trauma. I would definitely keep it cause it looks really cool though :)
