So here is my pretty girl, she's a golden albino. I had been unsure of the sex, but she just laid a whole pile of eggs for me- she's definitely a girl. These pics are when she was a bit younger.

She's very sparkly! Did she keep all those spots or outgrow them? Would like to see a more current pic

Was playing with filters on my camera and came out with this. Her tank isn't really green, I just liked the contrast. She's still sparkly, but the tank's lighting doesn't do her justice.

Current pic of Isis, while she was out nosing around. If you look carefully, you can see Osiris behind her, blending in to the background.

Love the name choices :) I love mythology esp egyptian. They are lovely lotls.

Isis is just about 16 months. If you can't see Osiris, he's mashed against the wall and his gills are just touching Isis's tail.

She still loves her log!

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
