Hey there everyone !
My name is eli im from a little tropical place called hilo, hawaii. And i recently got my very first Axolotl ! Very excited. Still new to this , looks like a great forum to learn more and seek help from experts and the like :) i think he is about 4-5 inches. Belly sized to his head , water levels are safe he is by himself in a 20gal tank with one big hide, and bare bottom soon to be fixed with river rock and vegetation. If need be i will post a pic of his home for u all to give opinions and advice any and all will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance !!!!!

I bought my first axolotls only 3 months ago, and now I have 6. Be careful, they are addictive.

I spent a lot of time on this forum as a guest, plus a couple of websites, researching axolotls prior to my purchase. Since then I have joined this forum and found everyone to be very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Best of luck with your new axie and we would love to see pictures. :D
 
Here is looking at the camera . Silly guy he is quite quirky . Thank you for the warm welcome I'll be looking forward to all the learning and fun parts about having Axies :D
And caring for them of course . Sad these amazing guys are endangered. Nonetheless I'll do my part to care for my little buddies .
