Please could you post your water parameters - ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature.
I have had a close look at the photo and I'm guessing that you are concerned about the slightly lighter patches of skin on his side. Sometimes axolotls can get lighter patches if they are stressed by heat. I have attached a link which shows a photo of an axolotl with this problem. Is your axolotl still behaving normally? Is it eating and pooping regularly?
If you post your water parameters we can check those, see if it is the temperature, and work from there to confirm and resolve the problem.
