Rescued 2 axalotal but one ill.

Hi i took in 2 axalotal over the week end has the person who had them no longer wanted.. There both in a tank together and i need to buy them a bigger tank and Tuesday 1 of my axalotal has a red cut back foot and looks swallow. Pics to follow if anyone can help please x

Did it get bitten up by the other axolotl? That looks like an injury more than an illness
