you need to make sure there are plenty of hides/caves in the tank to allow them their own space, nipping isn't unusual during feeding but if they are overly aggressive to each other then they will need to seperated.
the tail should heal ok but unless your axolotl starts to be able to re-use its leg then amputation may be required.

Ok thank you very much there new tank his still cyleing has only set it up a week and 2 days ago. I wish it would happen fast but we all know how the cyle works. Gunna keep my eye on her and i will get hide out for them. I recuce both of them they came in a tank why to small
Do you think tea bath will help her heal or should i just leave her and see how she goes thanks for the reply. X

bare in mind that although black tea baths are beneficial they are slightly acidic so they can cause some discomfort.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
