Mosaic?

Hey axolotl experts

Is this what they call a mosaic?
Here are two different babies from our “first clutch” I'm not really certain what to call them.
Here is Uno (our first born) and then this sweet baby that we thought only had one eye until recently

looks to me like you have two mosaic larve!
one seems to be closer to a chimera, but as far as i know they're genetically the same thing.
very interested in more pictures and information!! keep us updated!!

Eeeek! You think so? That’s so exciting!! I sure will!! Thank you for giving me your opinion…bc I am definitely still learning

… these babies weren’t planned but we took on the challenge to see if we could do it and make sure they’re all taken great care of. Knock on wood, we’ve only lost one out of 150ish…& it was about a week or two old and we still aren’t sure what happened or what we did wrong

All of these lil creatures have just stolen my heart

In a perfect world I would keep them all but who can afford to feed or have the space to house all these babies!

definitely a very rare occurrence to get two mosaics in one clutch, you got very lucky

May I ask you another question and I promise to leave you alone haha is there anything rare about this guys coloring? I’ve been calling him “Neapolitan” bc that’s what he looks like when he’s in better lighting. This photo is one that I took one night a couple weeks ago. I have better pics in my other phone. It’s the little guy in the middle at the bottom

That side facing the camera is much more pink like their dad…and the other side is darker and looks more like their momma.

i'm not sure about this one, more pictures could be helpful but we might have to just wait and see
