    How common are twins and triplets?

    Hi, My Golden Albion Simba is about 16 hours into a clutch of eggs, he last clutch had several sets of twins, maybe 5 or 8, this clutch (still laying) so far has 17 sets of twins and 4 sets of triplets. Just wondering if this is normal for so many multiples, or if my girl has a "twin gene"...

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation
