15 kg giant salamander found in Shenzhen

it says reptile in the text... we all know its not ;)
 
There is one about that size in Beijing zoo - if you are ever in the neighbourhood check it out - amazing hehhehe
 
That's big, that's heavy, but that's not all that amazing when you consider that the biggest giant salamander recorded in Japan was 1.5 meters long and weighed 27.6 kilograms. It died in 2002, but you can see it stuffed here:
