First question -
I have 4 adult Axolotls, I posted a picture of them. Someone had babies. I'm not sure who. I thought mom might have been my wild color axol because all the eggs were dark and they hatched pretty dark too but still clear. The babies are a few days shy of 1 month old and they are less dark than before.

Second question -
I've been feeding them brine shrimp and daphnia twice a day. Today, when I did the water change, I noticed a lot of the brine shrimp from breakfast were still there. When should I cut meals back to once a day?

The babies all look leucistic to me. Very cute! You'd probably be fine to cut back feeding to once a day if so much food is being left uneaten.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
