Just did a soapstone carving of a neotenic salamander from the tiger-salamander complex. Decided due to natural markings in the soapstone that it ought to be A. andersoni

wow lovely carving work ,soap stone is so cool and so easy to carve with i love it ♥ this reminds me of the Zuni fetishes (carvings) I collect that are so expensive just for a teeny tiny carving ,you'd make loads with these if you sold them :D
