Hello everyone, I have just been to my vet because we had anchor worms the vet had to remove them but after she said we have to treat the tank for anchor worms we diddnt want to bleach the tank and cycle it again so we showed them this product called 'blue planet paracide' and she said she would have a look at it. Turns out it is very safe and it will kill anchor worms in your tank, you don't have to drain the water out or cycle it again or anything it is very easy.
1: Contact your local exotic vet and tell them about your anchor worm problem, let the vet remove the worms, they will say you have drain and bleach/treat the tank.
2: Take your axies home and tub them, doing 100% water change each day.
3: Get the 'blue planet 'paracide'
4: KEEP YOUR AXIES OUT OF THE TANK, and put a half of a tablet per 25 litres of your tank, let this disslove
5: Wait 7 days and but another dose of the tablets in the tank, your axies are still in tubs with fresh dechlorinated water.
6: After 5 days Do a 50% water change And put your axies back in the tank.
7: YOU DONT HAVE ANCHOR WORMS ANYMORE!!!!!!! (hopefully!)
The product is 'blue planet' paracide'. It IS vet approved.
