A pink Toe?

So my guy is doing a lot better . (quick recap: Missing front toe, fungus in water) the toe already appears better than it was 2 weeks ago, and Acheron is happily eating his food. But i've noticed that a couple other toes are turning slightly pink to red. At first it was just a spot. Now a whole back "toe" is red. it doesn't seem to bother him, he stands on all fours, swims around. It's just... red. Any clue guys?

lol, i'm replying to my own post. But i just wanted to say, i think i'm going to have to put Ach into the salt water treatment, because tonight he's been holding up his feet. at least, the one with the missing toe, and the one with the red toe. (holding up as in, he doesnt' want to put weight on them.) i hope it's not too serious....

Maybe some sort of fungal or bacterial infection? That is spreading? I know its not the usual white fluffy stuff but if there is an internal infection then the area can get irritated (hence the pink/red toe) and i'd imagine quite sore..

The fridge + twice daily salt water baths should be enough to make him better soon.

if its a internal thing the salt baths probably wont do that much at all. not sure what the red toe could be from sorry
