I'm having trouble feeding one of my two axolotls. I've had them for 6 months now and I've noticed that my one axolotl is gaining weight and growing much faster then my other one (he's probably twice as big as the other one now). Some time ago I came on here and read that I should try some other foods and I messaged the breeder and he suggested to separate them.
So I set up a tank divider and I've tried a few different foods. I've tried live black worms, axolotl pellets and earthworms mainly Canadian earthworms (I tried to blanch them and I've tried cutting them into smaller pieces). He takes everything into his mouth and spits it right back out. I'm pretty worried about him since I've read that bloodworms aren't the best food and maybe that's why he's so tiny.
Also side note my other axolotl will eat anything I give her.
I'll try to figure out a way to get the pictures I have on my phone on here to show you guys.
