hi folks,

i have keep 3 P.Chinesis. and they seems aggressive at times with each other.
1 small newt keeps biting the tails of the other 2. whenever they see each other.
the bigger newts will fight back sometimes esp during feeding.

until i added more bog woods and plants. the biting becomes less.
but still the aggression is there.

was wondering if T.Verrucosus is as aggressive to each other?

thanks

I've heard that T. verrucosus can be agressive during feeding time, but more like snapping at eachother.
I don't keep them, so don't take my word on it.

I've only noticed it at feeding time and even then it was accidentally grabbing a leg instead of the worm.

I keep and raise them and I think they're very non-aggressive, like danny and justin said, just rarely snapping at food when it's feeding time and maybe accidentally snapping at each other. But they don't hurt each other.

dear folks,

nice to heard this.
will be getting 2 T.Verrucosus soon maybe in DEC.

currently i am keeping P.Chinesis at 22-23*C with a small chiller.

just wondering if T.Verrucosus needs such low temp as in P.chinesis?
my ambient temp is rather high at 30*C. normal water temp is around 26*C.

wonder if 26*C is ok for them?

thanks again
