This morning my new Andersoni arrived! Besides the information I received from the breeder, there really aren’t any other references or information I’ve been able to find out there.. I don’t even know anyone else who has one, they are pretty rare here in the US. I just want to get some other opinions and make sure that I am doing what’s best for him/her. I’m mostly concerned about the proper water conditions but any other information/tips would be super helpful!

you could make some big cash if you get two of them and start breeding them. Their care are almost identical to that of an axolotl from what I've heard

They need a higher ph. They metabolize 2x as rapidly and respirate 2x as often. Theyre more aware of their surroundings. I keep mine in rodi and holtfreter's at a ph of 7.8-8 and gh of 12° but i also joined looking for more information.
