I assume mostly the same as other Ambystoma (deep substrate, 50-70 degrees, some hides and perhaps a water dish, and varied food) but I was wondering if, since it's from the Central and Southeastern US, they liked slightly water conditions. Also, of course, if I have anything else wrong, please tell me.

I think like a tiger salamander. Apparently, you can get them to go semi-aquatic, but since their cousin the tiger salamander doesn't do well with large amounts of water, I wouldn't do that
