Ammonia concentrations that I should allow for Spring Peeper/Western Chorus Frog tadpoles

I have failed to keep Spring Peeper and/or Western Chorus Frog tadpoles healthy in the past, but this time I have bladderwort (Utricularia vulgaris) to help filter the water. I wondered how low I should keep ammonia levels (reducing levels by replacing some of the water). I have some ammonia test strips.

In the past lab i worked at, we had a method for analyzing Ammonia in water. I was amazed how in 1 week time, one large salamander produced so much NH4OH!

The best and main way is by diluting the water 25-50% every 3 or 4 days.

Right now, i am raising 5 newly hatched Tigers and the water depth is 2" in a 5 gallon tank. I plan to replace 50% water every 3 days.
I am collecting water bugs from nearby swamps and ponds.
