So we have ammonia, but the ingredients are softened water, ammonia, and a "chelating agent". I don't want to have to go buy a giant new bottle of ammonia that I have zero chance of using for anything other than cycling; that would just be a waste. Is it okay to use that ammonia for the fishless cycling? I don't want to put anything scary in the water for my future axolotl!

I would avoid using anything but pure ammonia. You can find it for a few bucks at a hardware store.
