1) Has anyone kept this species?

2) Do you provide climbing things? I've never actually seen one more then a foot of the ground.

I saw them also mostly under wood, but the point is you don´t look in the trees.

Hi Brian,

Lots of people have kept this species, including myself, and Paris Reilly bred them just last year.

You can provide climbing structures for them and some may use them more than others, but it's not a necessity. Mine were perfectly happy to stay on the ground as well.

I'd love to see pictures of how they were kept if anyone has pictures. I have a general idea of how to keep them, just curious how others set up the tank.

Well, I never did take photos of the enclosure, but I'll describe it for you. It was a 13" x 8" x 6" plastic container with about 2 inches of moist packed soil. I had a few rough rocks to assist shedding and several chunks of dead wood.

In the past, I've set up a nice terrarium for them with plants and branches for climbing, like one would for a treefrog. They did climb occasionally, particularly after the tank had been misted, but usually just stayed under ground cover like wood and leaves.
