Hello, so I am a bit stumped on the colour of the axo babies in the attached photos. The parents were male leucistic and wild female. Grandparents were copper x leucistic (male) and wild x Mel (female) The rest of the clutch appear to be a mix of leucistic and wilds. There was only six of these ones that stuck out colourwise to me. Could they be leucistics but just dirty? Any help is appreciated!

Shane douglas:with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??+1

Thorninmyside:Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation+1
