Aquarium Decoration Tragedy

Well I just went to the states, and because everything is cheaper there and there's more stuff to buy I got my newts two gifts. One was a turtle dock, and another was an aquarium decoration. Sadly when the decoration was packed, it was foolishly removed from its box and mixed in with clothes. By the time I was back in england it was broken in many places. Here's a picture to show the broken ornament:

I have a few questions. What could I use to fix it? Now that it's damaged could it leak chemicals out that it wouldn't otherwise?

Hi Ben,
If it is plastic or ceramic it should be safe even broken. You can try using one of the cyanoacrylate glues to patch it back together.

Ben, you can use a dremel tool or a pin vice(go to any Games Workshop store, they can help you with one of these), to drill a small hole in at both ends of the broken bits, throwin a metal rod of some sorts that is of the same size of the hole youve just drilled. Use some aquarium sealer to join the ends together, but just let it sit for a good 24 hours.
