Are live mealworms ok for axolotls?

i might start feeding my axie live mealworms, are they an ok basic diet or are they to fatty?

They are nutritionally incomplete, too fatty and hard to digest....generally they are considered a rather poor food for amphibians.
There are far better choices...mealworms are convinient but i wouldn´t use them...

Thanks, my friend feeds her axolotl just on mealworms, so i should tell her stop.

Definitely!
As an staple they are very poor. I´m surprised your friend´s axolotl hasn´t had impaction problems yet.
Tell her to use earthworms...nothing beats earthworms, they are simply amazing.
