I’m looking to get a salamander, don’t know which species yet and I don’t have an enclosure ready at the moment. Marbled, spotted, fire, mud, and maybe a slimy salamander species are all on the table. However I’m wanting to go ahead and find someone to do business with. If anyone is breeding in the metro Atlanta area let me know, I’d love to chat! Additionally, if anyone is willing to send an animal to a pet store that I work at, this will also work. I have a very busy schedule and would not feel comfortable shipping an animal to my house as I could potentially not be there.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
