Illness/Sickness: Are there any vets here who may be able to advise me on a sick axolotl?

Hi,

My axolotl is unwell and I am yet to have any responses on my previous thread. Have asked for advice in a few places and nobody has been able to figure out what is wrong. Was hoping there may be a vet around who could advise me?

You need to call your local vet, or pop in and ask them who is your local exotics expert. They will advise you who you can see. It would be helpful too if you can provide them with lots of information so they can seek advice. From what I read in a few of your other posts, your axolotl may have an abscess, this will need to be seen in person by a vet.

Yes I am in contact with the exotic vets, unfortunately the only one with any axolotl experience is not at the veterinary practice within driving distance until the 11th November so I'm stuck until then. Want to feel like I can do something to help her like tea baths or furan as at the minute she is getting nothing :/.
