Has anyone heard of these new underwater islands? I just came across them on the internet by accident and they seem like awesome ideas for us newt keepers. There basically underwater domes with air inside with an access point where newts, crabs, or even baby turtles can go in and out as if it were land. It also has an airhose connector so they have a fresh supply of air. There is also a neat contraption to get food to them.

I'm considering getting one, though I may try to DIY it first since they are pricy. It would be a great way to regulate land temperature since it is the temperature of the surrounding water.

Interesting. I wonder if the air pressure would effect them in any way?

It would be an easy DIY if you have access to the right tools and materials like me. ;)
