I purchased my first Axolotl yesterday evening. His name is Axel Rose. I know his name isn't spelled the same, but, my husband and I were spit balling names and it stuck. So, welcome to the family, bud.

Crazy cute!!

I would just suggest taking out the gravel/pebbles that are mixed in the substrate - axies swallow them and get impacted.

I did last night! When I bought him I hadn't done any research on him. I set up his own little 10 gallon tank with purely sand and hiding spots in it. Will post pictures of it later today ?
