For some reason, my axie does not like Any kind of worm.., he'll eat shed superworms, just not night crawlers, red wrigglers, or any worm from my garden... Any suggestions for an alternate food source? I'm a bit worried I won't be able to get him everything he needs...

How old is he? chop up to smaller bits if need be. Persistance i have heard works.. Mine eats anything that gets within range of his mouth.. but good luck!

Mine wouldn't eat worms when I first got them as they were used to only bloodworm & beef heart. I kept trying and it took weeks of trying, but they finally started eating small ones & now they love them and will eat any sort of worm of any size :D

Well, he bites them, and yes i have tried chopping them up, but for some reason he does not like them... He spits them back out.. Guess i just have to keep trying.

id stay persistent in trying to feed earthworms. my lotl refused red wrigglers at first because of a very bitter liquid that they secrete when stressed. at first I could only get Mjoll to eat krill and bloodworms but i quit offering them and only offered earthworms. if they dont eat the earthworm that night then they go hungry. after 3 days of refusing earthworms and me not offering anything else, on the 4th night she ate an earthworm and has been slurping up worms like a pro ever since! they just need to motivation of hunger and theyll get used to em! (a tip is to soak the earthworms in dechlorinated water for a little while after being cut, they excrete a lot of the bitter liquid while soaking)

good luck!

I found that several days without food made mine less fussy. I also chopped the worms up small. They now take whole worms from my hand eagerly.
