So, last night I fed my axolotls some worms from the garden. My female (my gold one) ate one whole massive worm, and my male (my brown one) ate two small worms.
I go to feed them again today (there's been a shortage of worms in my garden for a few months and my local pet shop never has any frozen bloodworm in, so my axies are quite skinny and I need to fatten them up a bit
) and in their tank is a massive, dead black-ish worm with a squashed head.
In the 2 years i've owned my axolotls, I have never seen anything like this, and I want to know if its normal
I've took the worm out of the tank and placed it into a small bowl, so if you need pictures... I can take them
