Axie teeth

I've read that most newts/salamanders have two rows of hundreds of tiny blunt teeth which merely hold prey in place. I went on vacation for a week and now my axie is bigger, browner, and appears to be developing two fang like things on its lower jaw I have yet to get a picture. I'm probably only noticing them now because every part of my axie is now bigger and easier to see.

Axies don't have teeth, as such. but there are two hards ridges at eges of the mouth. Sometimes shows up as a dark line on leucys and albinos.

I guess the two fang shaped things are just the shape of the mouth and a clouring variation. Take a close look at Psylockes piccy. Her lower jaw looks like it has two lower fangs pointing up but she has nothing of the sort.

Upon closer examination I have realised that they aren't really "fangs" but areas where the upper jaw overlaps the lower jaw in kind of a triangular shape. I wonder how many axies have jaws like this and if it helps them to hold food while they eat. Still don't have any photos.
