Well that was my first option,but that fridge is even worse!
My parents are going away soon though so I might put him upstairs.
Nah I don't know how to do that stuff,all I know is pH and yeah.But Spot is fine,if it was a case of that wouldn't Spot get sick as well?
He seems to be just not in the mood for it or something he's ok otherwise and not showing signs of starvation and his gills are growing back nicely .

No not necessarily, Nubs may have got sick as his immune system had been lowered, you tend to notice on the weaker/sicker ones.

If you don't have freshwater test kits for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates; you can either buy them at the petshop individually (over here they're round $15 a piece; or as part of a "Master test kit" which costs around $55-$75NZ here and contains tests for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, low ph range and high ph range); other alternative if you're a bit short of cash is just take in samples of tankwater once a week to your petshop and ask them to test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and give you the figures (you'll soon get the hang of it). We did this several times a week when we got our first tank when it was cycling and thereafter weekly petshop test visits to keep an eye on things till we could afford the complete test kits. We use them weekly to test all our tanks before waterchanges.

Yeah...what do you think would be better? The master kit I guess.
I'll probably look into buying one when I get more plants sometime this week.
He's just not hungry at all

Update:He ate!! Almost 2 weeks starving though,I got him a variation besides boring old pellets.
Mealworms and they worked a treat so yay back on track!

Good to hear, just make sure to decapitate/cut off the head before feeding them.
