Axies with amano shrimp?

hi-
i'm turning my old fish tank into an axolotl tank (don't worry, i'm gonna replace the gravel), but i still have one amano shrimp left in there. i was wondering if people have experience with this or if they think it'd be a good idea? i really don't care if the shrimp gets eaten or something by the axies, but i really don't want the shrimp to do anything to the axies to hurt them, so that's my biggest concern.

please lemme know what ya think. thanks

Chip - I have noticed that my amano shrimp are very violent with my apple snails. They "attack" them now and then kicking and pinching. They are fast and could actually cause some damage because axolotls are so soft.

I think I would find a new home for the shrimp rather than risk it causing damage, or scaring the axolotl into swimming into something hard enough to hurt its self.

I'd be more inclined to think the axies would eat the shrimp.

thanks for the thoughts.

maybe what i'll do is run an experiment--keep a close eye on what's happening, and if i see ANY sign of attacks or aggression from the shrimp, then out they go. thanks
