I've had my two axolotl for about 2 months now, one wildtype called Zeus and one leucistic called Io.
4 days ago my Lucistic Axolotl was still doing fine.. but two days a go when I wanted to take it outof the tank to clean it I noticed these weird white bumps on its belly.. I haven't seen anything similair on the internet so thats why I came here for help.
His/her behaviour is normal, Io still eats well and is swimming around, it sure doesn't look ill :(
I fed them eathworms for the first time recently and also added two water hyacinths.. not sure if the problem is caused by one of those.. also the water was 20 degrees for about two days, its now about 18 degrees(normally the temperature of the water) and I am trying to cool it even more now.

Here are some pictures:

The other side seems even worse

And I also noticed this very small "worm" on his head, between his/her gills.. It didn't seem to hold on to Io and it fell off when he/she went up for air...

Io also seems to have a more slimey skin then normal.
Oh and if someone can see if Io is male or female, I'd really like to know aswell!

I hope someone can help me with this before it becomes even worse..

I think your Axolotl will be fine, because it looks very healthy other than the spots. See if the spots go away in a week...I don't see them as an issue.
Your Axolotl looks a little young to be sexed. Wait until it's over 7" or sexually mature.
