Hello everyone,
(Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm new here) A few days ago, I saw my albino GFP axolotl Zero eat a snail, I was about to stop them but they swallowed it before I could do anything. I think they may have eaten multiple because none of the bigger snails are left, and there used to be 3 or 4. I tried to remove all of the snails before introducing Zero to the tank, but I left in the baby ones and the ones I thought would be too big for them to eat (they weren't). I'm not worried about the baby snails because they have soft shells, but I'm worried the bigger ones Zero ate might cause an impaction. The ones they ate were about 1.5 cm in diameter, and right now Zero is about 16 cm long. Also, the snails seem to have been Ramshorn snails, possibly Leopard Ramshorns. Right now Zero is still eating and doesn't seem to be bloated. Is there anything I should do to make sure my axolotl doesn't get impacted?
