Axolotl cant walk properly

Hi so i just got this axolotl around three days ago and one day while I was coming home from work I saw him lying on the surface when i came up close he darted back down but after like an hour later he started to walk but every time he did he started to float upwards and curl his tail as if he was stressed. Plz answer asap I dont know if i am overeacting but below is some information that could help.
Wild type
fed bloodworms
around 1 and a half inches
10 gallon tank
eating proporly

Do you have a picture?
It sounds like your axolotl might just be floating because it needs to poop.
If your axie's belly is swollen, he might be constipated or (worse case scenario) have an infection that has caused swelling.
If you could post a picture, then we could be sure.
