hello, I have took my axolotls to the vet a few days ago, now their gills look like they are falling apart (pic attached) there gills used to be quite nice and fluffy and they look like they are shedding (pic attached) , they are being tubbed with 100% water changes because we are clearing their tank for anchor worms. Tub temp is 15 to 17 degrease. On the first day of their tubbing the gill-fluff was all in the tub and their was heaps of it, A few weeks ago we bought Indian almond leaf of Ebay they will be arriving soon, will this help them? Any suggestions on what to do would be great.

Hi! Has this been happening since before or after the vet? What did they go to the vet for? Have they been treated for anything?

Hmmm ok, how long have they been tubbed together? How many are there? Are they both/all losing their gills? What size tank where they in before?

There are 2 axolotls they have been tubbed for 4 days they are both loosing gills and I'm not 100% sure what there tank size is

I'm no expert, but if they are both loosing gills, perhaps there is a disease in the tank.
