Axolotl help

Hello, I’ve had my axolotl for about two months now. She was very active and would eat regularly. Now she hardly moves. I also fed her this morning with bloodworms ans she didn’t even move from her spot to eat. The water is good. I have well water and plants inside so the ph balance is good. What should I do or what is wrong with her.

What is the GH, PH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?
What is your water change schedule?
Is it possible to get a photo of the tank and a photo of the axolotl?
What do you feed her?
Are there any other axolotls or fish in the tank?

It’s a 20 gallon tank the gh, ph and all that are normal levels I change the water twice a week if I can. I feed her blood worms and the axolotl pellets. There is one fish. She ate the others. This is a picture of the tank and her. I couldn’t get any other shots of her since she’s been under this rock since I’ve been to work and back.

Is it possible for you to give me numbers? Specifically nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia. What are you using to test the water?

what kind of fish? How long has it been in the tank? Have you seen it picking on the axolotl at all?

No. It hasn’t been picking at her. And the fish is a zebra danio. It’s been I. The tank for the same amount of time as I’ve had her two months.

Hmmm ok. What are you using to test the water?

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
